I can't say I wasn't surprised when Florence + The Machine's song "You've Got The Love" won the Wild Card round for our Weekly Top Ten charts. And you know what was even more surprising? The epic tune managed to spend several consecutive weeks on the charts, making it one of the first successes of our Wild Card feature.
But let's not worry about the logistics of it all. When it all comes down to it, Florence Welch is just plain awesome (even porn hottie Colby Keller thinks so). She'll be releasing "Hurricane Drunk" as the next single from her album Lungs, and I'm still on the fence regarding its potential for the Weekly Top Ten. Do you think we should give it a chance?

Yes!! I have to admit, I’m not a huge fan of her record company’s choice in singles (Cosmic Love and Howl should have been released, Drumming Song should have been publicized far more than it was, etc) – but I do love this song. I think it deserves a chance, if only for the chorus.
