Aural Only: Fefe Dobson

Canadian pop star Fefe Dobson just dropped her new single “Stuttering”. Why should you care about this? Because it’s actually quite catchy. The song’s got a bit of a Kelly Clarkson vibe, except with slightly more whiny vocals. And if that’s not enough to convince you, the music video features an extremely hot man wearing nothing but a towel.

So what do you think–are you a fan of Ms. Dobson’s latest? Would you vote for it on next Saturday’s Weekly Top Ten? Speaking of which, the poll from this weekend has been fixed, so you can now vote for Katy Perry‘s exploding boobies. We apologize to anyone who was offended by the omission of “Firework” and “Check It Out” from the voting process. We especially apologize to anyone who’s ever felt like a plastic bag.

  1. Love the song, love the girl. Not sure about the video. Maybe tries to tell too long a story in too short a time?

  2. Not sure how I feel about the “oh oh oh oh oh eh eh eh eh eh” in the chorus. It sounds kind of childish, and as someone who’s had a speech hesitation my entire life and spent a few years in therapy for it, not really sure it’s completely inoffensive.

  3. Chorus offensive? Really…Wow!?! Ok whatever, anyways, I liked the song, wasn’t really feeling the video though at all. Seems like there could be a continuation judging by the way it ended maybe?

  4. Great Song – awesome talent here. I wish Ghost would have done better. Let’s give her another chance.

  5. I actually like the song and Fefe Dobson, but I was cracking up through the video. The cheesy location and over acted gestures and facial expressions made me think of an SNL digital short. I was expecting Andy Samberg to be the guy behind the door.
