I used to make fun of my ex-boyfriend for loving Dolly Parton, and then I woke up one morning to a rude awakening. Unbeknownst to me back then, I love Dolly Parton too. And you know what? I don't care if anyone teases me for my admiration. The woman is almost 64 years-old, and she's still just as fabulous as she was at the peak of her career.
Dolly's latest song "Change It", which also appears on the soundtrack to the Broadway musical 9 to 5, is unlike any of the other music we feature on here. Don't get turned off by the showtune factor. Dolly puts so much soul into this number that it doesn't come off as too cheesy. Plus, I'm kind of in love with the shaving cream cutie in the music video. Can somebody hook me up with his number? Woof!
