AT&T Helped Kris Allen Win American Idol?

AT&T Logo

It's being reported that one of the biggest corporate sponsors of American Idol, AT&T, may have helped Kris Allen win the Idol crown. At two Idol parties in Arkansas thrown by Kris Allen fans, AT&T representatives were giving out free phones for text messaging services and showed people how to "power vote" via text (send out 10 texts at a time). No such parties were thrown for Adam Lambert.

Wow, that's kinda shady if you ask me. It's no wonder that 38 million out of 100 million votes came from Arkansas alone. Oh well, the show is over and I'm sure Adam will be successful as a musician–if not, he can always do gay porn. Heck, Kris and Adam should do a scene together.

  1. Hope I don’t burst your bubble, but the “38 million” remark was discredited almost a week ago, and this latest theory was dismissed within hours. I know there are enough conspiracy theories out there to fill three seasons of an X-Files relaunch, but the truth is Kris won and people need to get over it, LOL.

  2. we have to let this go already. adam didnt lose because he is gay. adam lost cause he screamed too much. yes, adam was the more talented of the two. BUT, kris has a wider appeal. so that’s how these things go.
and ps — the appeal of the show is waning for me. because let’s face it…it really doesn’t matter who wins or loses IDOL!
