Album Review: Funhouse by Pink

Pink Funhouse

Pink’s first lead single “So What” off her album Funhouse
gives you a good vibe of what will come next. And that is soul, rock
and attitude. I love that about So What; it has a catchy hook and
plenty of attitude.

Pink slows things down a bit on this album and it
shows a previously hidden vulnerable side. Songs like "Sober" and "Please Don’t Leave
Me" Pink reveal how strong she is by exposing her deepest feelings. On
"I Don’t Believe You" she paints a moving, vivid picture of what
happened between her and a love interest, probably ex-husband Carey
Hart.

What I always enjoy about Pink’s music is that she sings with so
much conviction. She has soulful strong chops which can come off as
untrained but sometimes that’s singing at its best. "It’s All Your
Fault" is another favorite and if released as a single, has potential
to be a hit. "One Foot Wrong" spotlights her voice at its purest.

If you’re not already a fan, give Funhouse a shot.  You’ve never heard Pink quite like this.  Funhouse hits stores next week on Oct 25th.
