unfortunately triflinbottom you should learn that “preferences” do have causes, are often learned behavior and can be based on prejudice or racism. so when someone goes on a message board talking about their racial preferences, people are right to question the motivation for that preference. Even if its not motivated by racism someone saying out loud or in print that they are not attracted to people based upon race at a minimum is rude, offensive and/or insensitive. and many men of color find it offensive, when they are offered backhanded compliments such as “i’m not normally into black, asian, latino guys, but you’re hot!”
