Josh Hutcherson is on the front cover of the November issue of OUT magazine, and not only is he dressed like a scruffy, retro greaser/biker type, but in the interview he does with them, he also speaks out about gay rights and says a few things that a whole lot of blogs, including this one evidently, have decided are noteworthy.
Rather than go over and over it all, I’ll just give you the quotes and then we can get straight to the pictures of him, looking super cute in the photo shoot and also we can put in a link to that story from a while back where nude pics of him surfaced – just to put the whole thing in context.
I mean, by all means, read the whole OUT magazine article – they do a fine job most of the time – but here are the main things he says that people are going to talk about if they talk about it at all (which they seriously appear to be):
On whether The Hunger Games’ Peeta, Katniss, and Gale should have a threesome: “I know Peeta would be into it, for sure. He’s very sensitive, in touch with his emotions. I think it really might solve a lot of their problems. You know what? I’m going to pitch that idea. Let’s make it a – what’s it called when three people are in a relationship together? A triad? That’ll go over well with Middle America.”
On his sexuality: “Maybe I could say right now I’m 100% straight. But who knows? In a fucking year, I could meet a guy and be like, Whoa, I’m attracted to this person. I’ve met guys all the time that I’m like, Damn, that’s a good-looking guy, you know? I’ve never been, like, Oh, I want to kiss that guy. I really love women. But I think defining yourself as 100% anything is kind of near-sighted and close-minded.”
On LGBT rights: “I have this dream that one day, my kid’s gonna come home from school and be like, ‘Dad, there’s this girl that I like, and there’s this guy that I like, and I don’t know which one I like more, and I don’t know what to do.’ And it’d just be a non-issue, like, ‘Which one is a good person? Which one makes you laugh more?’”

i know he says u shudnt define a person but these days its all everyone does….so i gotta say considering what he said that make him like bi-curious? hehe like what he says bout gay rights tho that was cool!!!
I don’t think he’s necessarily bi-curious — as much as very honest about his feeling. I think that on some level, everyone has an attraction to the same sex — but it’s not necessarily a sexual attraction. Also, I do believe there are degrees of sexuality — some guys may be interested in fucking another guy, but have no interest in an actual relationship. Nothing is black & white.
Am I the only one who does not find him attractive at all? He’s not ugly, by any means, but his face has always just seemed so plain to me.
I’ve had a crush on this guy ever since I was young. For him to be possibly bi-curious makes the gay in me giddy and fan girl inside. He’s beautiful, and even if he’s straight I truly appreciate that he takes time to support the gays. He’s an overall beautiful human being.
Gorgeous, funny and intelligent? I suggest we make him an honorary ‘mo, because damn it’s nice to see someone like this on the side of acceptance and being allowed to love who you want to, regardless of sexuality or such.
