Hot Flash: Willy Vanderperre

Willy Vanderperre takes a decidedly minimal approach to photography, yet he still manages to consistently churn out strong images. In a way, he almost makes it look too easy, as if you could just pick up a camera tomorrow and produce something along these lines.

Upon closer examination, you can see the artistic elements in his work, particularly when it comes to his usage of light and shadows. I'm a big fan of his abstract nude pieces, though the stuff he does in the fashion and editorial realm ain't too shabby either…

  2. Dewitt, I’ve come to the conclusion that you really aren’t a great art critic! Maybe you should just stick to blogging and leave the art to someone else? Just a thought!
