Since I can’t always depend on my faithful co-blogger to indulge my obsessions in his Gay Ass Gossip column, I’ve taken matters into my own hands to deliver this incredibly important nugget about actor Mark Ruffalo. This is totally breaking news, you guys!
So what’s the big deal? According to a new interview in The Advocate, he won’t be shaving his chest for his role in The Avengers. You may now breathe a huge sigh of relief that all this hirsute goodness will remain intact. You may also now question whether the Incredible Hulk will look normal with body hair. Because, seriously, that dude has been waxing his fur since 1962…
On a less superficial level, the interview also addresses Ruffalo’s stance on LGBT rights, as well as his feelings on playing gay activist Ned Weeks in Ryan Murphy‘s film adaptation of The Normal Heart. If you didn’t have a crush on this guy before, you might want to start crushing right now. Or smashing, as the Hulk might say.
