Excitement gathered when VH1 announced that they'd be reinvigorating their Divas performance special. Just as quickly, all that excitement dissipated when they announced the performers–Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Adele, Jordin Sparks… and Miley Cyrus? The public was surprised to learn that three reality show winners, a Disney hoe and some newbie British chick were considered "divas".
Luckily, the network wasn't going to let us down. It's just been announced that Cyndi Lauper, Melissa Etheridge, Martina McBride, Jennifer Hudson and Sheryl Crow have joined the night's line-up. We're keeping our fingers crossed that Lauper shows up drunk with a titty-flashing Lil Kim on her arm.

This is great that they’ve actually added real Divas. Another Diva not mentioned is Toni Braxton, who sadly will just be presenting… someone should totes convince her to PERFORM!

Sheryl Crow? meh.
And while I think Jennifer Hudson is a diva, she is a reality show cast off. Really the only good choices for me are Kelly and Cyndi.
