Apparently there's going to be a staged musical loosely based on the Bring It On series. We have no idea why Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda is involved with this, but he's not the only one who believes this is actually a good idea. Along with Miranda, Tom Kitt of "Next To Normal" will be composing the music. Amanda Green of "High Fidelity" will provide lyrics, Jeff Whitty of "Avenue Q" will pen the book and Andy Blankenbuehler will be choreographing and directing.
Now, I have to ask my theater queens–should I be swayed by this production line-up? Could this actually be something worth seeing? Will you pay for my ticket and give me a blowjob afterwards?

I was gonna say, If it makes it to Broadway it’ll probably last just as long as legally Blonde did… but I think it could be just as fun as LB was.
Considering I mostly watched the first one because of the “Mickey” number at the end, a musical just might work.
