When Twitter Attacks

Twitter Break In

It's no secret that Twitter is the new Messiah of social networking sites. From celebrity whims to exes fighting, it's all being played out on Twitter. But one man had to find out the hard way that sometimes oversharing can cost you, dearly.

An Arizona man, Israel Hyman, thought twitting his vacation to Hawaii was a great idea. Not only does he get to gloat, but Twitter is all about sharing anyways right? He had a quick change of heart when he found out that his home had been broken into, and thousands of dollars worth of computer equipment had been stolen! He has reason to believe the perpetrator became aware of his absence due to Twitter updates.

The lesson of the story? Be careful what you Twit. Oh, shameless plug time: Don't forget to follow MANHUNT on Twitter!
