Hi, and welcome to the new MANHUNT!
We’ve now rolled out the new site worldwide, and I’m thrilled to hear the overwhelmingly positive response so far. That said, I know this upgrade hasn’t been without its bumps in the road, and want to thank you for your patience and support as we get them all smoothed out.
Right now, there are more guys checking out MANHUNT than ever before and the increased usage is slowing us down from time to time. While it hasn’t affected everyone, some members may be experiencing site slowness and delayed response times from our Customer Service team – we’ll have this resolved within the next couple of days.
The MANHUNT team is working non-stop to accommodate the crowds and make the site faster than ever. We’ll continue to make improvements to performance and features over the coming weeks and will definitely be incorporating your feedback as we go – so keep it coming! Many of the problems people have told me about are:
1. Non-paying members don’t have IM access limiting all their communication ability. I am a paying member but my non-paying friends can’t talk to me.
2. The 1500 character limit in e-mails is less. And I’m paying for this?
3. Easier picture movement and an unlock list are both great ideas but could have been easily incorporated in the old layout.
4. The new layout is harder to navigate.
5. My SENT FOLDER doesn’t show when someone has deleted message I sent them once they have read them. That’s a critical tool for determining someone’s interest.
Are there other problems we’re having? I think we need to share them in the blogs.
I found it odd that the SAVED password at sign-in is gone.
A lot of my other issues with the revamp are about ugly design and odd navigation.

Why are we all being so negative?
On the Men Online list, I didn’t realize that Astoria was the only place in Queens. Every other borough is represented except Queens. All you see is Astoria and that’s just plain stupid.
Yeah, tons of the areas/neighborhoods under the states that used to be there aren’t. (And others are just ridiculous. I mean, come on. Berkshire County? Concord/Carlisle/Lincoln? Quincy AND Marina Bay? But no Newton? No Medford?? No Framingham OR Natick?)

Another unhappy customer here. The best feature of the old Manhunt BY FAR was the ability to do zipcode searches. That’s now gone. I hate “upgrades” that result in less functionality. And the letter from the CEO was laughably lame. That guy should go into politics!
I’m willing to stick it out for a little while to see how things shake out, but my paid membership is going to go away if things don’t get better fast.
Yest to all of the above and also, My profile says that my paid membership was automatically renewed with my permission and although I have sent three messages to complain, I have gotten no response.
I can’t say I’m real comfortable with the new format yet. There is so much going on at one time now. And the Online Buddy pics are such small thumbnails now. Previously the pics were much larger. I can’t seem to get just the NEW profiles any longer. A bunch of existing profiles are mixed in. What about mobile access? Thanks.
