Weekly Top Ten Wild Card: Let’s Get It Poppin’

In anticipation for tonight’s edition of The Ten, you can warm up your voting fingers with Manhunt Daily‘s Weekly Top Ten Wild Card! All of today’s selections come from the world of pop, and it’s up to you to decide which one will move on to this weekend’s countdown.

Your choices include new music from Sky Ferreira, Rihanna, Nadine Coyle and Akon. Only one of these songs will make it onto the charts, so be sure to get your votes in before it’s too late! We’re counting on you to make the best decision.

– Dewitt

To listen and cast your vote, follow the JUMP:

Sky Ferreira – Obsession: Imagine the bastard child of Pink’s “U + Ur Hand” and any Ke$ha song in existence. If you imagine hard enough, you won’t even need to listen to Sky Ferreira’s “Obsession”. Am I the only one who liked “One” more than this?

___________________________________________________________

Rihanna – Who’s That Chick?: So apparently this is a commercial for Doritos? I mean, it’s only natural that artificial cheese flavoring turns people into “disco divas”! Now if you’ll excuse me for a moment, I’m going to go stuff ten whole bags of triangle-shaped chips down my throat. I’ll need all that fuel for dancing.

Nadine Coyle – Insatiable: A few of you are dying to witness a catfight between Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole on the Weekly Top Ten, but we’re not going to make it easy for you! You’re gonna have to vote this chick onto the countdown. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, this song isn’t about my new boyfriend David Scott.

Akon – Angel: Look! It’s another uninspired dance song from Akon! This crap will likely be polluting the airwaves for the next couple of months, so you better get used to it. All you need to do is bite your lip and sing along–“She got wings! She got a halo! It seems to me so unnatural”. Ugh.

  1. Wanted to love the Nadine, but felt a bit bored half way through. Her voice is great, but better matched with her bandmates. Akon – shite, Skye – blah, Rihanna it had to be.

  2. I usually rnjoy some of Akon’s song but this one is absolutely awful !

Who’s that chick is a nice song..

  3. what the fuck is that nadine song?? she has a great voice but the song is appalling… its like mid 90s pop fake r&b… its really terrible and dated

that song will no way make the UK top 10 – how to end your career in a song

  4. I am going with Nadine. She might give Cheryl a run for her money in the charts come November. Don’t know what’s the big deal with Rihanna’s song. Only Girl is the only song from her that really matters now. Besides, it won’t last more than a week or two in the countdown.

  5. How many Nadine Coyle’s and Cheryl Cole’s do we need? Im over it.

Obession is not as good as ONE.

Rhianna got my vote by default.
