Vote For The Weekly Top Ten Wild Card

Kim Zolciak, music, The Gossip, Jennifer Lopez, Lola, Jay Sean

For two weeks, we've asked you to help us pick the final entry for our Weekly Top Ten. Last week's selection, "Starstrukk" by 3OH!3 and Katy Perry, is pretty much doomed to be eliminated this weekend. In fact, it's in last place. This leads us to wonder if there's some devious Vote For The Worst plot against our Wild Card feature.

With that in mind, we're taking it up a notch this week. This round includes new music by Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Gossip, Jennifer Lopez and Jay Sean. And guess what? Two of these songs may make it to the final ten. Feel free to gasp right about now.

If you're not feeling any of these choices, we encourage that you suggest your own song. If we like what we hear, we may kick the others to the curb and pick your selection. You only have one day to vote and make suggestions, so don't be tardy for the party!

– Dewitt

To listen and pick your favorite song, follow the JUMP:

———————————————————————————

Kim Zolciak – Tardy For The Party: Are we the only ones who are secretly loving this song? It seems like everywhere we go, people are making a reference to this jam. It's absolutely atrocious, but somehow it's simultaneously the best thing ever.

———————————————————————————

The Gossip – Love Long Distance: Whitney, Shakira and Janet's disco-inspired tunes have done pretty well on the charts, so what's stopping Beth Ditto from making a splash? Nothing. And I hate that I'm holding myself back from making comments on how big her splash would be.

———————————————————————————

Lola f/ Pitbull – Fresh Out The Oven: Jennifer Lopez can't fool us with this whole "Lola" schtick. This is just as crappy as all of her other recent songs. Shouldn't there be a rule about having too many alter egos? Does the name "J. Lo" ring a bell?

———————————————————————————

Jay Sean f/ Lil Wayne – Down: Now that this song has finally hit number one on the Billboard charts, it seems like an appropriate time for it to creep onto our charts. Andy's loving this one, so feel free to vote for it in his honor. Or you could just vote for it because Jay Sean is ridiculously hot. It's up to you.

  1. wow, thanks Dewitt, so i guess my ‘crazy idea’ about having a ‘pre-vote’ for new entries was actually taken into consideration. we got ild cards now. the chart gets even more interesting.
and ye, if u finally release the new manhunt blog, make sure u have a link to your chart somewhere at the navigation bar, cos it’s very hard and time consuming to find last week’s or any week’s chart.

  2. That Gossip song is FANTASTIC. The JLo one is, yeah, as crappy as all her “music” has been for the past few years. And, seriously – who ARE all you fools voting for the housewife song?!? That’s the worst piece of shit I’ve heard in as long as I can remember. Really? You like “music” that disregards any kind of singing? Come on, guys. (Oh – and don’t tell me you’re not all voting for Jay Sean’s song for any reason but his abs. The combination of severe autotune AND the same computer-created “music” we’ve been hearing in songs for the past 20 years? Please.)
