Toni Braxton's phenomenal career might be one in a bazillion, but what are the odds of her having a child with autism?
I'm often wary of celebs as spokespeople. Some of them seem more interested in using a cause for their own publicity rather than raising public consciousness about something bigger than themselves.
In this clip, I think you'll find Toni's advocacy both heartfelt and compelling.

Honestly, I just wish she picked a different organization. Autism Speaks is promoting an end to autistic people, who, for one, are far more devoted contributors to society than most I’ve met and, may I add, more attentive and caring in their relationships than most. Besides, Autism Speaks doesn’t include autistic people in their organization and only speaks about them. For more information about what autistic people need, in their own words, go to http://www.autisticadvocacy.org.
