Troye Sivan has offered an insight into the rock and roll world of the Met Gala with his latest Instagram post.
Yesterday, the ‘Youth’ singer – who wore a dress to Monday’s high-profile event – posted a photograph of himself “weeing” at a urinal taken by none other than Olympian Tom Daley.
Even more surreal, music icon Rihanna apparently orchestrated the photograph. (What next? Anna Wintour did the lighting?!)
In a caption, 26-year-old Troye explained: “@badgalriri told @tomdaley to take this pic of me weeing.”
The more you know.
Commenting on the post, diver Tom simply said: “True story.”
The Gala, formally the Costume Institute Gala, is a yearly fundraising effort to benefit New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute – and attended by the world’s glitterati. While we’re used to seeing red carpet arrival pictures and a couple of inside selfies, we seldom see what really goes on behind closed doors…
Also, a note on the trio being in the bogs together – either the Met has gender-neutral toilets or ‘Work’ singer Rihanna just DGAF about being in the gents! We’re into it, either way.
The photo follows a series of Troye getting ready for the party the day before, rocking a jockstrap and a Cartier necklace. Because why not?
it also follows the former Attitude cover star releasing his latest single ‘Angel Baby’ – a track the star has described as a “surprise gushy juicy doting adoring power b^tt^m gay ballad.” We’re enjoying this latest era, Troye!
