Quarantine has had many of us trying out new styles – whether that’s growing out a moustache, giving ourselves a DIY buzzcut, or reaching for the bottle of peroxide.
It seems Armie Hammer is also using this extended downtime to try out something new, as the Call Me By Your Name star has traded in his usual, clean-cut look for something a little more wild.
Perhaps he’s been watching too much Tiger King, as his new look, debuted yesterday (16 April) on Instagram, features a messy mohawk and a very fetching horseshoe moustache.
He topped the look off with a fringed crop-top vest and a pair of patterned swimming shorts. As the kids say these days, it’s a certified lewk – though it’s unclear if it was the finished transformation or just a mid-progress shot (we’d totally be on board with a buzzcut Armie, tbh).
While we’re not sure how we feel about it yet, Armie’s Call Me By Your Name co-star Timothée Chalamet seems to be a fan, joining the string of celebs to leave a comment.
His was simply two of the hot/sweaty face emojis – a summary we’re inclined to agree with. It was recently reported here that the pair are set to reunite in the movie sequel to the 2017 hit film, a coming-of-age gay romance set in rural Italy.
