This Time, Rihanna’s Single Is Actually Here

Rihanna, The Wait Is Ova, Russian Roulette, new single, fourth album, song, ballad, Ne-Yo, pull the trigger, pleasant surprise, barbed wire, naked, dominatrix

After weathering the storm of false rumors and a cryptic promotion trail, the first single from Rihanna‘s fourth studio album is finally here. The song is called “Russian Roulette”, and it’s a fantastically theatric ballad penned by Ne-Yo. This wasn’t necessarily what I was expecting, but it’s a pleasant surprise.

We also received news today that Rated R will be the title of the album. This name had been thrown around in the past, but now it’s official. Am I the only one who’s extremely pumped about this album? I have a feeling that it’ll be her best one yet!

  1. I can see how it might grown on me simply as a catchy song – there would have to be many listens in order for that to happen, I think.
But mainly I have reservations because I don’t like the subject matter – playing with guns is just to bleak….

  2. i like it. this song is going to be on the top of the charts. it has a nice vibe to it. it’s strong yet releaving. Plus with all the drama (for lack of better word, i hate that word and it’s so overused now) she’s been thru with that punk ass, mediocre singing (but dances his ass off and puts on a great performance) chris brown. She’ll be the No. 1 for weeks to come
