The Ladies of The View Take on Bruno

It seems like everyone is talking about Bruno after its no.1 debut this past weekend. The ladies of The View decided to take some time to discuss the movie. Joy Behar loved the movie and thought it was hysterical. Barbara Walters, on the other hand, had some reservations about the movie. Barbara wasn't a big fan of the abundance of cock shots and said, "I think this could make people–if you're not homophobic–make you." Whoopi also chimed in and said, "12 feet cocks aren't my idea of a good time."

Hey Whoopi, 12 feet cocks might not be your idea of a good time, but it would definitely make for great conversation. Like I said, I thought it was funny if you enjoy really vulgar humor. Do you guys agree with Barbara? Do you think the movie will reinforce current stereotypes about gays? Or do you think most people will just see it as a stupid funny movie?

  1. I agree with barbara for one and I have absolutely no desire to see this movie. I think it will perpetuate the stereotype of gays by the ignorant masses. Joy would like this movie because she is a comeidian. I think it does look vile and will never see it. I dont enjoy his style of humor and I to this day, I have never seen Borat either. And my life is still complete. I will not fall into the peer pressure of American media to see this movie.

  2. There are no stereotypes of gays although there are so many gays like Bruno in reality that its more like walking into a nightclub in any large city. Barbara Walters is a tired ole woman who needs to put her years of experience to rest. She has become a whining, nosy, opinionated old lady who holds none of the charm she once exuded. The movie Bruno was funny and real and yes shocking too. As it should be. Why is it that when formula is broken America has some form of a societal heart attack? I am sick of it! Life is not all Transformers and Harry Potter. Joy Behar liked the movie because it was funny. Her being a comedian has nothing to do with it. She said it was funny in parts. She gave an honest review of the whole movie. Rock on Joy. I would rather hang out with you than Barbara Walters any day. She is just a tired ole prune!

  3. I wouldn`t give my Gay dollar to a movie that perpetuates the typical Gay stereo type of a gay male. We`re Not all queens! A couple of my gay friends saw it and really thought it went a little to far.

  4. My boyfriend and I thought it was hilarious. It’s so over the top only an idiot would take any of it seriously. People are too uptight.

  5. Baba WahWah does anything for attention anymore. She is constantly bring up subjects that deal with sex. It’s like listening to my great grandmother speak about sex. Who cares if she likes AstroGlide. And I hope she stops pimping out her freaking book. UGH!

  6. Its not a total piece of shit but it is not worth an entire movie…its a nice skit on SNL…its going to so far down after the first week…dont be suprised if its pulled fast….a loser.
