You may remember when I wrote about this controversial Brazilian movie. From Beginning to End is about two brothers who fall in love and the ensuing troubles they face. The premise if a little out there, but the actors (Rafael Cardoso and João Gabriel Vasconcellos) who play the brothers are just pure hotness, and it helps that they aren't actually brothers.
In what I'm sure is a ploy to nail down the gay audience, they've released this clip of the two actors making out in their underwear. I guess it worked, I definitely want to see this movie!

I think that the writers, directors, producers and all involved were not trying to imply incest. This is a love story that evolved from the beginning, and blossomed, not from something immoral, but from the love two people felt for each other. I for one definitely want to see the film. It appears to be very well written, and the acting seems to be oscar worthy.

Brothers? Damn! I watched it before I read anything about it… Looked like a nice love story between a woman who possibly adopts two (non-related) boys or between a boy and his best friend.. can’t say I’d sign off on the brothers thing though. Sucky..

I would love to see this movie. This sounds like a great movie even though I think it will get a lot of bad reviews. It is a very touchy subject.

I find it amusing that so many straight men and women can put their homophobia aside to appreciate a touching movie about two cowboys in love, and so many of us gay guys can’t do the same for two brothers.
Personally, I would like to see this movie, and not because I think brothers together are hot (even though, at least to some extent, I do).

Incest has been going on for a long time, boys. And gosh, in some cultures, its not even taboo. Shocking, huh? What a bunch of prisses some queers are….I’ve known a number of gay men who had sex with their brothers or fathers. It was when they were adults and consenting. Since I have no brothers I haven’t a clue about that sort of attraction. But human beings and their sexuality come in a huge spectrum…so there you go. I am looking forward to seeing this film….and yes, the “brothers” are hot…which makes it even better!

2-it plays into the possessiveness that is human nature to alter the “acceptable” roles within a family
As to the first, there is no reason why gays should have any concern for it. As for the second, it is simply a vestige of a repressive and conformity obsessed society. There is also no reason why gay people should be overly concerned with that.
I don’t find my brother attractive in the least, but I can’t see why anyone would rationally object to brothers who did find each other attractive and who engaged in consensual sex. There are a lot of people here who are shouting out of their own fears and prejudices, and not thinking rationally.

It happens, if it is consensual let it be. My ex has had sex with 5 of his 1st cousins(very hot,btw) and as far as I know they all still hook up when they have the opportunity.
