"It was sort of a happy accident. I’d planned to film the head shaving part, but the rest of it, the beginning, was an accident because our camera man (you see him in the mirror) forgot to turn off the camera. Since it’s all reversed in the video, what you see at the beginning is us taking breaks from the fucking…For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to do a cover of the Leona Lewis song… Something about the cutting of the hair and the cutting in the original lyrics.
