Office Space star Ron Livingston, who you may also recognize as Jack Berger from Sex and the City, has filed a lawsuit against an "internet bandit" who continually writes about a gay relationship on the actor's Wikipedia page. The so-called bandit has allegedly written that Livingston is partnered with a man named Lee Denison and even went as far as creating fake Facebook pages for both men.
Every time Ron's reps attempt to remove the information, it's changed back "almost immediately". Currently, Livingston is married to actress Rosemarie DeWitt. So what do you think? Is this some weird web stalker? Is someone trying to out the actor via Wikipedia? Or do you just not care at all?

Who cares if people think you’re gay? You’d think he’d be happy with the publicity considering NO ONE talks about him otherwise. He played an insecure, immature man on SATC, and it’s too bad he’s the same way in real life.

I don’t draw the same conclusion of him being “immature” for not wanting people to think he’s gay. Like it or not, there’s still a stigma attached to sexual identity.
Beyond that, some actors prefer to stay out of the light of public scrutiny; Victor Garber has almost nobody in my generation who knows who he is, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t getting work. Something to think about.

@James – To me it doesn’t matter if he’s gay or not, it really is more about the misinformation bit (if, indeed, it is misinformation). If someone were constantly spreading lies about you, would you want to have it continue?
Gay or not, he has a strong chance at winning the lawsuit for defamation. Like when a guy finally comes out as Tom Cruise’s fuck buddy, he’ll be in court in a heartbeat 😛
Never saw the movie. As for Deanis’ comment, there already was a small time gay porn star who claimed he was Cruise’s lover. He got his ass sued and has never been heard from again.
