After the interview where he blamed his sexuality (not the tax evasion) for his stint in prison, Survivor winner Richard Hatch is back in prison! Now his sister, Kristin Hatch, is claiming they jailed him because of that interview.
Could it be more victim card or is it really retaliation for accusing the justice system of homophobia? Since Hatch and Matt Lauer claim they received permission from the Bureau of Prisons, I'm not sure what it could be and the timing does seem suspect.
Is Richard Hatch a political prisoner!? Okay… I wouldn't go that far but I'm curious to find out why he's back in custody.

You want to know why he’s back in jail? Read the newspapers. Hatch was serving the last part of his jail sentence under house confinement, and one of the terms of such confinement is that approval of the prison system is required for giving interviews. He didn’t get that permission for all the interviews he gave. As a result, he violated the terms of his house confinement (which, you might note, is a privilege, not a right) and he was returned to prison to complete serving his term.
