Photo Ops is the current project of Nashville-based musician Terry Price, whose new album How to Say Goodbye came out exactly one month ago. I know, I know! That lead-in isn’t anywhere near as exciting or sexy as 98 Degrees singing about their penises, but bear with me if you can… This is some good stuff.
“It Makes Me Cry”, especially, is a personal favorite of mine. After several days of humming the instrumental break to myself while walking down the street, I expressed no hesitation in dragging the track onto my “Best of 2013” playlist. (You’re all welcome to ignore that the song was officially released in 2012.)

Good one! Easy on the eyes. Easy on the ears. He can sing, run, keep house. He looks like a one-man band and he hasn’t had an easy life, including Bell’s palsy. The scene with the woman at the end is disappointing. No fancy clothes, no expensive sets, no creepy scenes (in contrast to the elaborate Justin Timberlake video “Mirrors”) but I just watched Terry’s creative low-budget video twice and will watch it again.
