So how many of you saw I Love You, Man this weekend? I've heard some mixed reviews, but I'm sold even if some people are saying the film is homophobic or unfunny.
Why? I've been crushing on Paul Rudd since Clueless, and I'm positive that I'm not the only one who feels that way. My crush has only grown stronger after reading these quotes from his interview with Entertainment Weekly.
Exhibit A: "I always thought I'd be a really good gay guy. I love American Idol. I watch Antiques Roadshow like crazy. Guys like Oscar Wilde, Stephen Fry, Elton John—they're all very bright, with a razor-sharp wit. David Sedaris—who's funnier than David Sedaris?"
Stereotypes aside, I agree that Paul would be an excellent gay guy (particularly in the sense that he'd excel at sleeping with me).
Exhibit B: "I remember doing interviews for The Object Of My Affection, and people would say, 'What was it like to kiss a guy?' Like it was such a shocking thing. I said, 'How many times does anyone ask, 'You had to shoot somebody. Was that weird?' I love gay guys. I feel pretty gay. I'm certainly not the most macho guy in the room."
Do you think he's implying that he'd be a bottom by saying he's not that "macho"? I certainly hope so! Not that you can't be macho and a bottom or anything…

In general I thought the movie was very funny, and had an INCREDIBLE cast that included Thomas Lennon (Reno911!), Jon Favreau (Iron Man) and Jamie Pressly (My Name is Earl), Jane Curtin, and one of my favorite bands, Rush! Worth the price of admission IMO.
The picture is stupid. But I agree – I’ve had a crush on him since Clueless too. He’s hot as hell, but he also seems like a guy you could be comfortable around and be friends with.
the second pic is actually pretty awesomely made and is very convincing actually… that is if you Don’t look at the dick, because the dick is awful light integration.
