What do Oprah Winfrey and Amy Winehouse have in common? They both did crack (well one of them still does crack). In one of her shows, Oprah revealed that she had smoked crack cocaine in her 20s. Oprah said that it was one of the hardest things she'd ever talked about.
Oprah explained further saying, "But I was involved with a man in my 20s who introduced me to the same drug that you've been talking about and, like Patrice, I always felt that the drug itself is not the problem but that I was addicted to the man…I can't think of anything I wouldn't have done for that man."
Oprah overcame her addiction through her belief in God. "There is nothing greater than the spirit within you to overcome. You and God can conquer this. You can conquer it," says Oprah.
Hmmm…I guess everyone makes bad decisions, even Oprah. I'm glad she had the chance to talk about her problem. It must have been a huge lift off her shoulders. In the words of Whitney Houston, "Crack is whack!"

I don’t believe this to be true. As one blog said the man who wrote a book about this is trying to get money from her for many years. There are any evil envious people out there. If indeed this is true and Oprah talked about this on her show, it’s now old news…?
I like to think I can somewhat relate to this even though I’m not as famous or well known as she is, but one Gays of Boston were telling people I was doing Crystal Meth. I didn’t try to find the source because it’s just envy and jealousy.
COULD SHE REALLY conduct a show (one blog stated she was doing a show) while on crack, everyday?

I’m not convinced that Oprah could come out as a heroine-addicted lesbian with a love for shooting small animals and millions would still become giddy whenever she was on. I do believe she has conquered the world. You can either join her, or be eaten. I chose to join.
