Must Watch: High Five Etiquette

Hi-5

When thinking of stressful situations giving someone a high-give might not come to mind, but this video may change your mind. I've actually had an awkward high-five situation or two, so this video was not only hysterical but also instructional.

Doesn't hurt that the two actors are kinda hot! Now let me take my new skills out for a try around the office…

  1. Do people just randomly high five people in the street in America? Because that sure as hell don’t happen in New Zealand.
Although I’m all for the windmill five!

  2. well i’m glad my sense of humor allowed me to enjoy this, unlike some of the previous posters. i see many people high fiving, and i’m a big fan. there was a time period from about 2004 to 2009 where i thought high five was never going to come back. but during the summer of 09 the rate of high fiving saw a great increase. and its pretty popular around here. obviously, this mostly applies to youthful, optimistic people. debbie downers and boring people most likely don’t know what i’m talking about.

  3. ^ It’s funny when you can relate, unfortunately I can’t. The only place I see people high fiving is in the tv series ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and even then it’s kinda cheesy.
But hey, no need to insult others because they don’t share the same sentiments as you, amirite? 😉

  4. Hilarious …. happens on campus all the time. great way to not stop and talk. Windmill and the spank is the the way to go fo sho!
