ALL RULES MUST BE READ BEFORE ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES
1. Eligibility and Entry Instructions
SWEEPSTAKES OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES WHO ARE EIGHTEEN YEARS (18) OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF Friday, October 10, 2008. Directors, officers and employees of Online Buddies, Inc. and any of its respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win a prize. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

2. How to Enter
No purchase necessary to enter or win. All limited Manhunt members who purchase a 7, 30 or 90 day membership between 8:00 AM EST October 10, 2008 through 3:01 AM EST October 14, 2008 will automatically be entered to win. If you would like to enter without purchasing a membership please send a postcard with your name, address, username and a contact number to P.O. Box 425338 / Cambridge, MA 02142. All postcards must be received by Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
All entries become the exclusive property of Online Buddies, Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes period begins 8:00 AM EST on Friday, October 10, 2008 and ends on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 3:01 AM EST (the "Deadline"). All entries must be received by the Deadline to be eligible to win the prize.
4. The Prize
Each Prize is valued at $199.00 and consists of:
• One 16GB Apple iPod Nano per winner.
The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. There is no limit to the number of entries that will be accepted by the Sponsor.
5. Prize Restrictions and Winner Responsibilities
All federal, state and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the individual winner. Winner may be issued a 1099 MISC federal tax form if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won in Sweepstakes from Online Buddies, Inc. and/or participating co-sponsors exceeds $600.00.
Prizes are not transferable; no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed except by the Sponsor who reserves the right to award a prize of equal of greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable.
Winners must submit an affidavit of eligibility and compliance with the Official Sweepstakes Rules.
The prize will be awarded. If the prize is returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within 14 days after delivery of notification, it will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
The prize is awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
6. Sweepstakes Rules
The prize winner will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries, to be held at Online Buddies, Inc. 215 First Street Suite 500, Cambridge, MA 02142 on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
The Sponsor will use its best efforts to notify the winner(s) via e-mail on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. To claim the prize, the winner should follow the instructions contained in his/her notification.
7. Disclaimer
Sponsor and any of its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agents will not be responsible for: (a) any late, incomplete, illegible, lost, misdirected, misrouted, garbled, stolen, distorted, damaged or in any way ineligible transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, telephone line, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, DSL, cable, or other computer or communications related malfunctions or failures, whether human or mechanical; (c) any printing or typographical errors in any material associated with the Sweepstakes; or (d) any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor.
The Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes or any Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond the Sponsor’s control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Sweepstakes as planned.
8. Disqualification
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant or individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, the Sweepstakes web site or the Sponsor’s web site; to be acting in violation of the Official Sweepstakes Rules; to be engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to the Sponsor, the Sweepstakes or any other Entrant; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
9. Governing Law and Venue
Massachusetts courts both state and federal shall have the sole jurisdiction of any controversies regarding or relating to this Sweepstakes. The laws of the commonwealth of Massachusetts shall govern same. Each Entrant waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and hereby irrevocably submits to the venue of such courts.
10. Force Majeure
The Sponsor reserves the right to change, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes if, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, intervening circumstances warrant such change, suspension, or cancellation. Intervening circumstances include, but are not limited to, interruption, preemption, or cancellation. Intervening circumstances include conditions beyond Sponsor’s control, such as strikes, labor disputes, war, insurrection, revolution, terrorism, riot or other civil disturbance, earthquake, fire, flood, or other natural disasters, governmental restrictions, embargoes or other exercises of governmental authority, unavailability of supplies, components, or material, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s control.
11. Release, Waiver and Indemnification
By submitting an entry, you, the Entrant represents and warrants the following:
a. That you have read a copy of the Official Sweepstakes Rules (the "Rules"), understand such Rules, and will comply with such Rules;
b. That all information contained in your entry and Sweepstakes Entry is accurate, complete and correct and that you will promptly provide any information reasonably requested by the Sponsor and any other Sweepstakes Entities;
By submitting a Sweepstakes Entry, you agree to voluntarily and forever release, discharge, waive, indemnify and hold the Sponsor and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents and any other person, entity or sponsor connected with the Sweepstakes harmless from and against any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, costs, judgments, expenses (including reasonable attorneys fees), lawsuits, and actions of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from the Sweepstakes, the Sweepstakes Entry, or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity, or resulting directly or indirectly from any third party claims or threats of claims, the inaccuracy, or alleged inaccuracy, or breach by you of your representations warranties, the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Sweepstakes, and any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, lawsuits, and actions involving personal injury, death, property damage, copyright, trademark, right of privacy or publicity, patent or other intellectual property rights, and/or defamation.

The Sponsor’s Privacy Policy is available at the searchable “help center” on www.manhunt.net. Submitting a Sweepstakes Entry, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and that you have had the opportunity to unsubscribe and request that the Sponsor not send you any future e-mails, other than notification that you are the winner of this Sweepstakes.
14. Agreement of Entrant
Entrant agrees to be bound by these Rules which are final and binding in all respects.
15. Winner Publicity:
Winner gives permission to Manhunt.net and Online Buddies, Inc. to publish the screen name and location (city/state) of winners, and any quotation that the winner is willing to provide on the website (accessed by other Manhunt.net members).
