You have to laugh – she’s just not a very nice person. Truth or Dare popped up on my Netflix recently, and it was given a watch at J. Harvey headquarters. My partner watched it with me, and we both noted that Madonna comes off as horrifyingly immature and a complete spoiled brat. But isn’t that one of the reasons we all adore her?
Upon watching this clip from her appearance last week at the Venice Film Festival, it’s apparent very little has changed.
If someone gifted me with flowers, I’d be thrilled. Damn. Girlfriend is old and jaded about receiving adoration. I’ll take hydrangeas!

I still get a laugh out of her fake British accent every time! She started using it with in a year of moving to England, so you know if that is fake so is her gratitude!

Now you wanna talk about TRUE BITCHES, any one of those cunts from any of the Real Housewives crapfests would have likely not only thrown them back in the fans face, but caused a huge scene about it as well, simply for the sake of press.
If this is all you can come up with that qualifies as news worthy, I would seriously suggest to Manhunt that they get someone else for this position.

Hydrangeas are kind of a bullshit flower….I always think they look like some tissue-papered craft project you’d see at a Puerto Rican wedding. I’m giving Madge a pass on this one.
I think she did really well here…. first of all, the fact that the person walked up to her, with what obviously looked like a last minute gift (I’m sure there is a bush missing a branch in Venice right now, not even a newspaper around it?), should probably not have happened at all in the first place…. I think if she was in her 20s or 30s, she’d just tell them to their face that she hated them….. but she did not make the person feel like shit, at all…. personally I hate carnations and sun flowers…. we all have our favorites of any given category…

I don’t give her a pass. She’s a richbitch because of her fans. One tried to do something nice for her and, while it might not be something she enjoys, as they say, it’s the thought that counts. She’s spoiled, overrated, talent-shrivelling and, let’s face it, old. And we all know how gays feel about “old” people. As she demonstrates more and more that she’s a self-centered hypocrite, may her career go the way of Mel Gibson for opening her foul, stupid mouth.
This is not really surprising. I can remember seeing her do that kind of bored kiss off to her fans in a nightclub…… This young kid was positively giddy at meeting her at a charity event in Miami, told her how much she meant to him…. her response, yeah, yeah, yeah, and turned her back to him. No thank you. No nothing. The kid was crushed. She was a bitch from the moment she stepped in the door of an event SHE CHOSE to attend, and she was a see you next Tuesday the whole time she was there.

I agree with Jess. How was she being a bitch? She thanked the guy TWICE, smiled, and then told the person next to her, in a way that was obviously not meant for press, how she honestly feels about the FLOWER – not the PERSON. She even said “he obviously doesn’t know that” – She didn’t say anything degrading like “how stupid” or “what a jerk”, like a real bitch would’ve said. Madonna can absolutely be a bitch sometimes, but this is not one of those moments.
What really bothers me is, why are so many gays obsessed with bitchiness? Being a bitch, calling someone a bitch, gossiping about bitchiness, watching TV shows full of bitchiness… It’s very petty and, frankly, gets annoying very quickly.
I think the qualification of her being a bitch in spite of her manners is her ego. She could’ve said thank you and just shut the fuck up. She didn’t have to roll her eyes like a bitchy cheerleader or commentate to her friend. People without class do that. She’s probably been like that since she was nothing in the backalleys of Michigan.

I don’t think she did anything wrong here. Everyone should know by now that she has an attitude and that’s one of the reasons we love her so much. I agree with a previous poster….. she didn’t insult the fan, just the flowers and people were not meant to hear that. I’ve always loved the fact that she speaks her mind and doesn’t care what anyone thinks.
If I were a popstar, the only thing I would diss as a gift would be stool samples. Flowers are flowers, they’re kinda all the same. But, that’s just me.
If I were giving a popstar a gift and they didn’t like it, I would probably be disappointed but just for them to react to what I’ve given them would be a thrill. This fan (or whoever gave the gift to her) is more likely to be remembered thanks to this. No matter how you feel about Madonna, I don’t think anyone can fault the gift-giver and that’s got to count for something.
