If you're not familiar with the internet music community Last.fm, here's what you need to know–the site basically tracks every song you play on iTunes. Yes, that also includes the ones you're ashamed of. Thankfully, they've added this handy feature where you can remove songs you don't want others to see. Now, no one has to know about your Backstreet Boys obsession.
On the site's list of tracks most frequently deleted in August 2009, at least the top eight come from artists heavily supported by the gay community, including Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Katy Perry. Do you think a lot of Last.fm users are deleting these songs in an attempt to maintain their straight or "straight-acting" image? I'd say it's quite suspect. Check out the full list here and decide for yourself.
