It’s In The Motion Of The Post-It Ocean

What did you do in college? Because honestly it can't be cooler than this. I don't even care if you got pounded by three drunk, horny frat boys. This is better… well, maybe. How hung were they?

Oh, I suppose it doesn't matter, given how awesome this is. A student at the Savannah College of Art and Design created a stop motion video with post-its, setting it to a tune by Röyksopp. My fingers are crossed that Kanye West or some other musician will see this video, get a serious art-boner and hire this kid to make their next music video.

  1. 4 days according to the Making of Video… with three months of pre-production.
So 96 seconds of footage at 30 frames per second that would be 2880 frames total of stop motion animation with each frame slightly different then the previous to give the illusion of motion. Those four days must have been veeery long…
    excellent work!

  2. That was pretty awesome. I’ve done that without physically using post its. Took a lot longer than 4 days cuz it’s hard to try and make each post it have a pattern and i was dumb enough to try it with every post it. And my video’s only 20 seconds long…
