Did you know that the movie Pirates of the Caribbean was based on a ride at Disney Land? You get in a fake little boat and cruise past a series of eye-patched, swarthy automatons singing pirate songs. Since the success of the movie franchise, Disney replaced the robot pirates with live actors, but apparently they won't have a Jack Sparrow from now on.
Johnny Depp made the character too damn sexy! Apparently, lots of young female tourists have been flashing their boobs at him, so the actors playing Sparrow have been axed. Around the same time, Disney has hired a bunch of fairies to promote the movie Tinkerbell.
I wonder if any of the fired pirates were hired again as fairies. Captain Sparrow certainly had a little Tink in him, don't you think?
