James Franco is the hot piece of ass actor who is very “arty” and always involved in “arty” side projects. More power to him, but how come he can’t be naked in them? At least his little brother Dave Franco makes sure his sidework is homoerotic (it was hot when he had ass sex with himself). But James are always lowlit and drug-induced. In this one, he’s Justin Bieber and he and another dude sorta kinda mime a threesome to the strains of “Boyfriend” but everyone’s clothes stay on. WHY? Why else would we watch this? Truly a wasted opportunity.
James might be redeeming himself, however. Back in the day, there was this Al Pacino flick called Cruising (you NEED to watch Pacino try to dance at a leather bar- it’s like he’s being tazed). He played a cop who goes undercover in NYC’s leather scene to catch a serial killer chopping up gay dudes. A large portion of the gay community hated it. Anyhoo, supposedly there was some fairly explicit gay sex footage that director William Friedkin claimed to have shot that he was told by the studio to cut and it was supposedly later destroyed. Franco & friends have created a kind of a movie within a documentary called Interior, Leather Bar which reportedly reshot the lost footage. Franco isn’t IN the sex scenes, but it’s a step in the right direction and a suitable apology for this crap.

Well, I’m sure I’ll watch it but maybe not because of this but because of what it is a remake of. What was up with the remake of the Beebs? It wasn’t really funny so I guess I missed something…but then I’ve never actually seen the original video because I’m not much of a Belieber (is that what they’re called?).
