Behold, a picture from Tumblr that recently gave me a boner! As far as I can tell, there is absolutely no reason for this guy to be wearing suspenders. I mean, let’s put things into perspective—he’s wearing a garment where his ass is completely exposed. Is he worried the jockstrap will fall down and expose even more? Is he worried that we’ll rip it off of his body, run away and sniff it forever and ever? There is literally no purpose. Except for maybe that last one.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve thought suspenders are weirdly sexy. Not just when they’re being worn by a half-naked dude! Even from a fashion perspective, I’m almost guaranteed to swoon if an attractive man walks into the room with suspenders and a bow-tie... And, no, I do not have an Urkel fetish! What is it about suspenders that’s so freaking hot?

suspenders definitely can be a fetching part of business attire — yes.
in my view, suspenders (in and of themselves) aren’t “hot.”
they’re more complementary, to the overall package, if anything.

They’re best when they’re on a guy with broad, muscular shoulders and big pecs. I think it’s the image of the suspenders being stretched by the man’s muscular torso, like he’s barely able to be contained and the suspenders are going to snap at any second from his brut strength.
