Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway Battle

Bonnie Clyde

Here's a celebrity feud I never thought I'd see… Faye Dunaway and Hilary Duff. Upon learning that Duff would be taking the reins as Bonnie Parker in a remake of Bonnie and Clyde, Dunaway reportedly said, "Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?” Ouch!

Well, Hilary Duff didn't let that slide, she recently told E!, "I think that my fans that are going to go see
the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know… I think it was a
little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.” Double Ouch!!

I guess I can't blame Duff for being upset, but she should know that one day she's going to lose her youth. She should actually consider herself lucky if she manages to emulate Dunaway, who looks great for 68.

  1. Hillary Duff as Bonnie Parker? What’s next, Paris Hilton playing Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest?

  2. Haha, totes agree with Faye and easyreader, she’s NOT a real actress and the role is fitting for someone who is, not a disney hack.

  3. That shows Hilary’s immaturity to make an age joke as if she is somehow exempt from the process of aging. Faye addressed a legitimate aspect of talent and Hilary responds with a sophmoric crack about inevitable human biology. I hope she realizes that Faye was a virtual unknown when she made that classic- legendary film and did not need to rely on her “fans” to go see it to make it a success.
    Good luck Sillary!
