Harlow Cuadra Spared Death Penalty

Harlow Cuadra Trial

The gay porn murder case has finally come to a close as Harlow Cuadra's sentence was handed down yesterday. The jury deadlocked on whether to give Cuadra the death sentence for the murder of porn producer Bryan Kocis, which means he will serve a life sentence without possibility of parole.

The details of the crime were horrific. Kocis was slashed and stabbed almost 30 times and his home set on fire to destroy the evidence. Cuadra's accomplice, Joseph Kerekes was found guilty and is serving a life sentence.

Hopefully this is the end of the craziness. I hope Cuadra is looking forward to being a big man's butt boy! What do you guys think of his sentence? Should he have gotten the axe or is life in prison sufficient?

  1. He should have gotten the death sentence. Now us tax payers will be paying for his upkeep for the rest of his life. In the current economy (and even in a good economy), there are much better things that money could go towards.

  2. Giving the death penalty to Cuadra rather than Kerekes would have been ridiculous. It sounds as though Kerekes was the bad influence. That doesn’t excuse what Cuadra did, obviously…but I’m not sure why the state would have pushed for the death penalty for Cuadra, rather than the man who supposedly had him in his complete control.
Maybe they tried to get Cuadra to turn on Kerekes, and he refused, and then Kerekes agreed to turn on Cuadra in exchange for not getting the death penalty?

  3. Studies show that the death penalty costs more to the state than a life prison sentence- the main cost being relentless appeals.

  4. This whole incident is absolutely horrendous, embarrassing and gross…and all because of greed! And not greed for an honorable profession…but for a seedy lewd and lascivious low-life profession!
I’ve had major issues with how the younger gay guys act. Shame their mommies didn’t smack their asses harder and teach them some morals and proper behavior!
I’ve been “out” for over 30 years and this situation is the first to make me feel ashamed to be gay.

  5. They got what is best for them and society. What would have been the consequence if both perpetrators were black? Its about time we ALL learned to respect the law. Its long past the time when the law showed any respect towards society and treated everyone the same, regardless of race, etc. This verdict was appropriate.

  6. I know a guy who spent some time with him a few years back. I don’t know if he was a client. This guy said Harlow was a really sweet kid, which makes this all the more incomprehensible.

  7. Dennis Shepherd, Matthew Shepherd’s father, granted Aaron McKinney life after being granted the ability to sentence him to death. For this reason, I will always be against the death penalty.

  8. I find it very disturbing that you (Manhunt) are joking and/or advocating rape. Rape is not funny, and nobody should be forced into sex, even convicted murderers. I get that you were trying to spice up your comments, but I find this quite distasteful. Sexual violence is not a joke!

  9. I’m very for capital punishment, but in regards to seeing his documentary on HERE, how he looks crazy, bored, and chaotic imprisoned in a cell, I picture that being the best punishment for his life, let guilt devour his soul’ Never have a future with society, never fall in love and be able to fully express it, never experience the changes of the world’
