Designers have been flirting with a return to neon colors for a few years now, but I've been reading recently that the style is about to break. And even if it's not about to become popular, fashion writers will probably shove it down your throats until you care.
I get the appeal–brighten up your daily life in the midst of a shitty economy. However, is this a trend that's strictly for the ladies or can men rock the day-glo too? I'd rather hook up with a man than a highlighter, but I'm sure there's someone who can pull this off… right?

I’ve been rocking what I like to call the “Neon Castro” look for a few months now. It’s classic 70’s/80’s styles (ultra-tight jeans, baseball tees, etc.) in neons or with neon accents. I love that shit.
I’d rather hook up with a neon highlighter than a man, or a glow stick, or any other random rave toy. Rave toys that glow and are also boys would be an added bonus. Thick glowsticks make for more fun action in the shower after a night out clubbing than a guy who’ll more than likely disappoint in bed.
