Homosexuality was removed from its erroneous placement on the American Psychiatric Association's list of mental disorders back in 1973, but one bioethics professor in Spain seems to think otherwise. Gloria María Tomás y Garrido, who teaches at the San Antonio Catholic University in Murcia, has designated any activity that is not heterosexual "perverted". In addition to this, she included in her seminar that gay and bisexual individuals are "ill" and "unworthy".
In response, a gay group has fired back at the professor's ignorance by saying that she requires "urgent psychological treatment" to treat her illnesses of intolerance and homophobia. They may say that two wrongs don't make a right… but something about calling this hag out feels oh so right!
