Epic Facebook Fail

FAIL, Facebook Firing

As much as you may love to over-share on Facebook, you probably shouldn't talk to much about your job. This rule is particularly important when it comes to bitching about your boss. Take as an example the screen-cap above, in which a young woman complains "OMG I HATE MY JOB!! My boss is a total pervvy wanker always making me do shit stuff just to piss me off! WANKER!!" Too bad she didn't stop to think that she added that "wanker" as a Facebook friend.

  1. Both of them are wierd… Don’t discuss company issues outside work. But again, can you fire an employee through facebook? That also sounds ridiculous.

  2. That’s fucking hilarious.
I’ve always been amazed how much people will share on FB, especially considering their tendency to friend people they barely know.

  3. I did something like this. My boss is so cheap and wanted to stay open an extra hour at night , even though what we usually make in that hour doesn’t cover my pay. Well I said in a status that I wanted the store to close at 9 again rather than 10. Well I forgot I have my manager on facebook. I was lucky though, she doesn’t see the point in staying open late either, but I was like “Oh Shit”

  4. passiveagressivenotes.com featured this yesterday, along with some other funny facebook coworker issues. How retarded can someone be anyways? Though, seriously, I doubt the professionalism of her boss who fired her through facebook, word gets out that it happened that way and he’ll probably get in trouble too…

  5. I’d like to give the Manager some head – as my way of saying ‘thank you’ for firing the dumb ass slut on face book.
    Too funny! Bah,ha,ha !

  6. i don’t get one thing. why does ‘i am gay’ has to do with ‘my boss is a wanker’? i mean, she called him a wanker and he is like ‘bla bla if u didnt notice that i’m gay bla bla’. kinda unrelated..

  7. he said that cuz she called him pervvy meaning that she thought he was a pervert that hit on her or something. at least thats what i got out of it…

  8. In general, people should be really careful what they do/say/show on social networks. Many times, companies are even doing searches via these mediums to see if they can get incriminating information that would weed you even out of the interview process! It’s BIG BROTHER!
