Eagle Eye Wins Weekend Box Office

Shia Labeouf

Eagle Eye was the big winner at the box office this weekend, with $29.2 Million in the bank. Shia LaBeouf‘s stock sure is rising quickly… He also had a hit with his last D.J Caruso film, Disturbia.

Nights in Rodanthe came in a distant second with $13.6 Million, and features Diane Lane and Richard Gere paired up once again in what looks like an incredibly sappy love story.

Other movies were even further behind, and one time champion Burn After Reading, with its all-star cast, has fallen to No. 5 with $6.2 Million.

I’m surprised Miracle at St. Anna isn’t doing better (No. 9).
