I never heard of the Latinos-loving-frappucinos stereotype. Rude? Besides that, this is surely the most accurate and truthful protest song since the days of Dylan and Baez. The cutesy Christopher Cristwell (good stage name) was axed mid-shift at his Chowchilla, CA Starbucks yesterday after HR decided this song was inappropriate for an employee to be dittying.

You rock Christopher!! I worked retail many many years ago in a family clothing store and the shit you have to put up with! The only thing that got me thru many a rude customer was the knowledge of how sad and petty their life was to come to the place I work and cannot fight back and cause some shit.
It isn’t like he shot someone in the face. He put his irritation into a cute little song, he put it on YouTube so that people would see it. Now it may or may not be his intention but the more people that see this the more likely it is that the next time you, me, or some other viewer walks into a place like starbucks, we aren’t total dicks.
Working in the service industry is fine. I do it. But this attitude that because I do this work means that I have to graciously accept other people treating me in a way they wouldn’t dare do if they didn’t believe I was constrained by the nature of my job is bullshit.
Most people you encounter are great, they are nice and polite and appreciative. However hardly a day goes by when one or two don’t go around with this false notion that because they are a customer they own you.

LOL! Loved it! I work for starbucks and I agree with everything but the Latino and caramel frappuccino thing. I’ve worked at 3 different stores and at each one we’ve dubbed caramel frappuccinos blackuccinos 🙂
