Some interesting nominations for the 14th annual Critics' Choice Awards have been announced. In what should make for some awkward dinner conversation, Brad Pitt's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is up against wifey Angelina Jolie's Changeling for Best Picture.
I was particularly excited about Milk's nominations, the Gus Van Sant biopic ties with Benjamin Button for most nominations, with 8 in all. Milk is vying for Best Picture, Best Acting Essemble, Best Supporting actor for James Franco and Josh Brolin and a Best Actor nod for Sean Penn, among others. I haven't seen any of the competitor's for Best Actor, but I can say that Sean Penn gave a riveting performance.
