It's official, Clay Aiken is a jealous bitter queen. The former Idol contestant recently went on his blog and said some nasty things about this season's runner-up Adam Lambert.
Clay said, "This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing 'Ring of Fire' and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening!" It seems like someone's been sipping on too much HATORADE. He then goes to say that after his season ended, American Idol "stopped being about real people."
The former closet case continued to rip American Idol apart, but I wouldn't want to bore you with his non-sense rambling. If you were curious to see what else he had to say, check out his blog… actually most of you wouldn't be able to. It costs $29.95 a year for you to read his bullshit–I think I'll pass on that.
So why the hatin' on Adam? I think it's because Adam had sent Clay the standard regret message on MANHUNT and poor Clay couldn't deal with it. Or maybe Clay is jealous that Adam looks better in a dress than he does? Oh well, I guess we'll never know…

Or maybe its because Adam Lambert is the best singer who has ever competed on American Idol – which makes Aiken less relevant. Or even more likely, its the fact that Lambert never apologized for his orientation, exposing Aiken’s cowardice. I do like the theory about the ‘standard regret message’ though. That is hot. And more than possible.
Both men are talented in their own right.There si enough room for the two of them. Gays should support gays.Not bashing them, we have enough straight people doing that for us. Adam is the flavor of the music industry. He’s got the look.He challenges us on what he will do next both musically and dress wise. I was disappointed when Adam lost.Yet I believe others will remember him for along time to come. hell,he even has his own doll out.What other IDOL can say that?
It reminds me of something another bitter overpraised queen, Michael Feinstein, said 25 years ago when Linda Ronstadt recorded standards with Nelson Riddle: “She doesn’t understand those songs.” His lack of diplomacy aside, I remember thinking, “Jeez, honeylamb, at least she can sing.”

Or, could it be Clay has a point. I didn’t get the Adam lovefest either. I love rock, and Freddie Mercury, and Adam isn’t even close to him. Adam did scream soooo much in every song that it was easy to lose sight that he is also a very good singer (when he sings). Adam started to remind me of Sam Harris of ’80s fame, great for a while, but eventually too repetitious.
Linda Ronstadt is a talentless cunt. Feinstein was right in every way.

havnt watchd the show in YEARS. i think i watchd the first few seasons, but got tired of its repetitive boringness…
clay has no room to talk about ANYTHING/ANYONE… he JUST came out of the closet (when we knew he was gay from the first time he sashayed onto the stage..) atleast adam was honest w/ himself from the begining and not a closet case like you…
adam is a kid out there having fun, if u don’t like it then just CHANGE THE CHANNEL. (lawd knows i did it plenty of times when they were playing your videos on mtv mr. clay aiken…)

i think it’s funny that cry me a river im not gay aiken says that after his season that american idol stopped being about real people . if his season had been about real people he would have came out of the closet and been proud to be gay instead of waiting forever when we all knew his ass was a flaming queen . i have nothing for people being closeted but when u deny deny and then admit it to try and pump up your record sales and possible his sex life which i dont know about all of you but really would u want that wimpy twat in your bed … im all for adam i think hes a better idol then clay will ever be
