Another "ex-gay" activist and preacher is blaming gay people for our woes. This time it's Chicago's failed 2016 Olympics bid that's being put on our shoulders. Who knew we had that much power?!
James Hartline blames the loss on the city's hosting of the 2006 Gay Games:
"Because former homosexual James Hartline and the other Christians were willing to risk their lives for the Gospel while the world was glorifying homosexuality in Chicago, the Spirit of the Lord was released upon Chicago's demonic gay agenda in 2006. Notice the third-person self reference? This guy sounds like a moron, I don't want to give him too much traffic but you can see what other nuttiness he's up to on his website.

People who are tossing blame around (on both sides of the political aisle) haven’t followed the IOC for very long. The only two true competitors were Rio and Chicago … Tokyo was out because Beijing just hosted the 2008 Games, and Madrid was out because London is hosting the 2012 Games. The IOC does like to move things around, and South America has never hosted.
Umm I live in Chicago and I’m so happy we didn’t get the olympics.
