One of the sexiest actors of the decade is reportedly donating $100,000 to fight Proposition 8 in California this November. Proposition 8 is a ballot question that would overturn the state Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage. This is yet another fabulous example of Brad’s social conscience.
Here’s what Mr. Pitt has to say, “No one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it…discrimination has no place in America."
Apparently, he’s surprised that his colleagues have not also donated money to support the battle against Proposition 8. Earlier this week, the Jolie-Pitts family announced that they gave $2 million to help fight HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in Ethiopia.
