Beyonce Carter is on the October issue of Marie Claire and this is what she had to say:
"I’m over being a pop star. I don’t wanna be a hot girl. I wanna be
iconic. And I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot. I feel like I’m highly
respected, which is more important than any award or any amount of
records. And I feel like there comes a point when being a pop star is
not enough."
I, like most of the gays love Beyonce; however, a legend or icon I think she’s not! I personally feel that she’s way too programed, she lacks personality, and her material I feel are not timeless and that makes her a great Pop Star. Her songs are great but I can’t see her songs being played on radio 10-15 years from now like iconic legendary artists with great catalogues such as Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey or Celine Dion.
