B.Traits + Elisabeth Troy: “Fever”

“Fever” is the gayest dance song I’ve heard in a long time, and I mean that in the best way possible. There hasn’t been a single club track since David Guetta & Kelly Rowland‘s “When Love Takes Over” that’s gotten me THIS excited about gyrating like a fucking idiot on the dance floor. It’s pretty fucking epic.

Vancouver DJ B.Traits and house diva vocalist Elisabeth Troy lace this track with a ’90s throwback sound, taking you back to the days of La Bouche, CeCe Peniston, Robin S. and C+C Music Factory. It’s a welcome dose of nostalgia, all while seeming entirely uplifting, fresh and new. Get addicted (like me)!

  1. I doubt that anyone will get addicted to this.  Sorry.  It’s really horrible.  “When Love Takes Over” had a build-up to a chorus that was exciting and memorable, something that hit you in the face when it arrived, something that would run through your head for days.  This has nothing even close to that…no real melody, no build, no chorus, no nothing. (And by the way, I was a successful producer, composer, musician, and re-mixer for one particular label of disco hits in the late 70’s and know what I’m talking about.)

  2. Jeez! People aren’t allowed to like what they want to like? If this song makes Dewitt happy, let him be happy! Thats awesome that you can toot your own horn about having worked in the industry, but that was Disco baby….in the late 70’s! Everyone is allowed there own tastes in life!
