Sacha Baron Cohen is being sued after allegedly attacking a woman (as Bruno) during a 2007 charity bingo game for the elderly. Though some previous lawsuits against the comedian have been connected to fairly harmless acts, this one seems kind of serious.
After tussling with Cohen for control of the microphone, the woman was wrestled to the ground, filmed being "humiliated" and ran into another room "sobbing uncontrollably". She then hit her head, was rushed to the hospital with a "diagnosis of two brain bleeds" and has been "confined to a wheelchair and walker ever since".
If her allegations are true, dear ol' Bruno should definitely pay up, but does anyone else suspect she may be exaggerating the events to cash in?

i have to agree with wrestletp – i am in my 30s and live in london – so that blog entry made me wonder if it’s really possible that there really are such blatant forms of discrimination in the usa…or is it just that the wrong voices are always the loudest?
mark, i thikn u might be confused. the discrimination was on the part of the club owner, not the persons who wrote about it happening. anywho, back to the Bruno thing.. she’s probably lying for money, but he pretty much has it coming…
nope, definitely not confused – part of the entry where the writer was pretty much siding with the club owner has promptly disappeared…
Mark, he wasn’t ‘siding’ with the owner, he was making fun of the fact that a 55 year old was going to a club marketing to people 30+ his junior. He then joked about drunken hook ups and sugar daddys. People got pissed so he took it off (and didn’t try to hide that he took it down either). As for the Bruno thing, yes she is exaggerating. Funny how it took two years for this to be brought up?
let’s be clear about something — “you need to remember who is paying for this website” — That’s right, besides all of you old guys who apparently have so much time on your hands that you need to be offended by a joke in a gay sex blog, there are a good many 20&30 somethings who are also paying customers who also think it’s funny to read about a 55 year old being ridiculed for trying to partake in an underwear party meant for people less than half his age.
