Aural Only: Wynter Gordon

Wynter Gordon, music, pop, dance, gay, Dirty Talk, official single cover, Flo Rida, David Guetta, club, gay, release, leak, songwriter, first single, debut, slutty

As much as I love being bossed around by a verbal manther-type, it's going to take some time for Wynter Gordon's "Dirty Talk" to grow on me. The twenty-four year old singer-songwriter, who's written songs for everyone from Mary J. Blige to Jennifer Lopez, has collaborated with producer David Guetta to churn out this jam, and it's nowhere near as good as it should be.

I'm all for total slut anthems, but I have trouble believing that Wynter is as much of a whore as she wants us to believe. If you're going to be a hoe-bag, you have to own that shit! She's going to have to do much better than this if she wants to be promoted from singing hooks for Flo Rida and working in the shadows…

UPDATE: We just received word that the song was not produced by David Guetta, though the two artists did collaborate together for "Toyfriend" on his latest album One Love. This one was actually produced by Wynter Gordon, Keith White and Mike Caren with co-production by Greg "Jupiter Ace" Ferguson. The song was written by Wynter herself and Nicole Morier.
